Why to take this seminar
The seminar is intended to provide participants a practical, hands-on approach and knowledge on a specific issue that characterizes one of the most relevant areas of work for fashion companies, due to their international reach. For this reasons, several professional figures can be interested in the subjects: from independent Lawyers, to corporate lawyers, up to licensing managers too.

Giorgio Aime
Giorgio has a law degree earned at the “Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi” in Milan in 2017. Since the same year he has been working at emlex law firm, of which is a managing associate.  He is a member of the Milan bar. He deals mainly with intellectual property, competition and commercial practices, commercial contracts, information technology and e-commerce, advertising, and product compliance.

Aurelio Assenza
Aurelio graduated with a law degree from Universita’ Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in 2007. Since that time he has been a lecturer at Bocconi on ‘Legal Issues in Marketing’ and ‘Advanced Intellectual Property Law.’ He has been a member of the Milan Bar since 2010.

Nicola Guerini
He is Director-General of Milano Fashion Institute. He specialized in the areas of Corporate Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Business Planning and in the Management of Fashion Companies, for which he is currently involved in degree courses at Bocconi University and other University Institutions. He is consultant for law firms and Italian and international companies in the fashion, luxury and lifestyle sectors.

Massimo Maggiore
Law degree at the Catholic University of Milan and LL.M in Technology, Media and Communications LL.M at Queen Mary University of London. Massimo is the founding partner of emlex – Eva Maschietto Massimo Maggiore law-firm in Milan, of which he heads the intellectual property/information technology department. He collaborates with Bocconi University as adjunct professor of Legal Issues in marketing, lecturing on trademark law, merchandising contracts and the responsibility of internet service providers for the infringement of IP rights. Massimo has also occasionally lectured at the same University’s LL.M course in law of internet technology and on cyber security law. He is the author of several publications and a regular speaker at conferences in Italy and abroad on IP and IT law matters.

Financial commitment

The economic value of the seminar is equal to 250 € (22% VAT included).
A reduced economic value, equal to 199 € (22% VAT included) is exclusively reserved for:

- Students who are currently enrolled at MFI;

- Milano Fashion Institute Alumni;

- Former Students of Milano Fashion Institute Short Courses;

- University current Students.

The total cost is payable as follows:

- One instalment: 250 € (or 199 €) on the acceptance of the application and no later than 20 October 2023. Invoice will be sent at the receive of the payment.

Costs include the study material and the use of facilities of the Institute.

The instalment is non-refundable. The participant is allowed to withdraw, up to the eighth calendar day preceding the starting date of the seminar, by submitting a letter (priority mail service) to the registered address of the Milano Fashion Institute, anticipated in any case, by fax and / or e-mail; if so, the participant is allowed to attend the next edition of the seminar (if applicable) or another MFI Course, upon payment of price adjustment.
