Some selected students from the Master in Fashion, Design Management & Product Development at Milano Fashion Institute had the unique opportunity to participate in “FASHION BEYOND: TRENDS GO GLOBAL”, organized with DHL Express and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana during Milano Fashion Week Women's Collection.
From September 23 to 28, five student-created outfits were showcased at the Fashion Hub, inspired by the most promising emerging markets for Made in Italy: Greater China, UAE, Turkey, Mexico, and South Africa. Each piece was accompanied by storytelling highlighting creative vision, market trends, and export strategies.
The project allowed students to explore design management, from production to promotion, simulating real professional processes and combining Italian craftsmanship with digital innovation.
Students involved: Marcella Olivieri, Subashri Shekar Akilandeswari, Nicholas David Andrew Smith, Sumbal Jamal Khan, Sannia Jabeen, Eva Lovaldi, Nour Elhouda, Ilaria Pepino.
